Trusting....

Daddy made yummy crepes this morning with Nutella!

Bob and Becky made the trip down to meet Carter for the first time!

Loving on her brother during the storm yesterday morning...

God is constantly teaching me to trust Him more....you can worry about your kids so much...in utero and then once they are here! And so much is out of your control and you just have to trust and pray...it's something I am constantly learning! :)

Since Thurs. we have been thinking about the infection that he prob picked up from the hospital and then worrying about the meds he was taking at such a young age...and the last 3 times he took the dose he threw it all up...The last time this happened we went to the ER bc it had happened 3xs and our Ped wanted us to be seen (and we were HAPPY to be seen!)

Something wasn't setting well with us the whole time he was on the meds....come to find out he had been getting too much of the drug and @ too high a concentration! We are not sure yet if it was the doctor's fault or the pharmacy...Very worrisome! So please triple check each time when you get meds that they are correct! We double checked this time, but apparently we should have triple checked! (I obsess over stuff like this!) We now have a correct dose for him and will be giving him that dose for the next wk...such a tiny amount...I am so happy!!! :)

Some quotes I need to remember! :)

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." ~Matt 6:34
"TODAY is the TOMORROW that you worried about YESTERDAY." :)
We are so grateful that God protected Carter from digesting too much medicine! God is so good! :)

As our weekend progressed at our home, I realized something today. That the power of prayer is so much stronger than sometimes we truly realize. Through those that keep their eyes on Him speaking on our behalf..there is a peace and protection that sometimes we are just unaware of. I believe that is what happened for Carter this weekend....for so many of us love all of you and were praying for that little, sweet boy. God is good.. EVERYDAY.
