Aunt Susan is the "hostess with the mostess"! She invited us out to her new apartment for dinner and lights! We were so excited!
She made us an awesome meal...I haven't been as stuffed since Thanksgiving! The kids were too excited to eat much...back and forth and round and round her apartment...I'm sure all the "young adults" in the building didn't know what had hit the place...
I love her apartment...she has such an eye for decorating and I love the high ceilings, painted brick walls, and just downtown feel of the place...we finally plugged the kids into the end of a Christmas movie...M thought Aunt Susan was a rock star to have a TV in her room! (we don't even have one!)...
Then up on the rooftop to see the lights! Susan has a pool on the roof and I went last summer...haven't brought the kids up there yet...maybe this summer!
There was even a train going by...we tried to point it out to the kids, but it was hard to see in the dark...then we hopped in the van together and looked at some more lights downtown before dropping Aunt Susan back off and heading home....thanks for such a fun evening Susan! :)
