So speaking of "plans" in an earlier post...I was so looking fwd to this morning...we were going back to the retirement community to carol....we have been practicing our CD from MOPS in the car and the kids were so excited...so I had Christmas-y clothes picked out, packed lunches for the playdate in the church gym afterwards...I was ready! Was late leaving bc someone needed a Time Out for behavior...then pulled up and was unloading kids only to realize I hadn't put Carter's shoes on! Sadness! So back we went to get them...we got back to carol as they were singing the last song...Our plans often don't work the way we want them to...do they? We still got to visit with the folks there though...Carter gave hugs to the grannies and M told them all about Aunt Susan's rooftop...it was fun once we finally got there... :)
The kids really enjoyed playing in the gym with their friends and I enjoyed talking with the mommies...Hopefully this afternoon we can play outside for a bit...it has been toooo cold lately to go outside, so playing and picnicking in the gym this morning was awesome!
