Remember this at the end of the summer? Well we rescheduled it for this weekend and the weather looked perfect! I was sooooo excited!!!! But on Thurs. our Mal-o-Muffin came down with a cold...and we thought child w/ cold + no sleep + out in the elements = sicker kid...so we ending up doing the trip without camping out like everyone else...Mommy was so bummed! But it was still fun!!
The kids had a blast playing around the campsite! Lots and lots of activity! (The whole crew pictured above minus the 2 babies of the group...who stayed with grandparents...)
And one of the fams brought an extra tent for the kiddos to play in...
A movie was offered after their dinner so the parents could eat...again only 1 kid watched the film! But it did give us a few mins to chow down! Technology in the big outdoors!
Then of course s'mores!
Glow neckles, flashlights, and lanterns were all the rage!
We headed home and returned in the morning to see our friends and hike and find the playground....
The trees are starting to change and are so pretty!
Mallory loves to "swing like a monkey..."
Ice Cream anyone?!?!?!
Then we were off to pick up Carter from his overnight with MiMi and PaPa! Thanks for keeping him for us...he had a great time! And so did we on our Pseudo Camping Trip!!! :)

What a fun time! I may have to follow your example- I'v been too chicken to try camping with the 2 kids until now...
I miss all the changing leaves and beautiful fall colors!!
