Love Tanks

(These pics were taken at MiMi and PaPa's when we went to pick up Carter on Sunday...)
Today all 4 of us got to go to our own classes! Daddy and Mal at school, and C and me at MOPS! We talked about this book and our child's love languages today in my "class". Our children def. feel loved with Quality Time and Physical Touch at this point in their lives! It was so good to think about love and the different ways people feel loved again...and it was so fun that the lady who spoke about the book was Irish!! Loved the accent! :)

I want to write down a few ways M feels loved these days:
*Playing in her closet for long amounts of time with Momma...with a story line usually involving hiding from the Big Bad Wolf
*Reading the same book over and over (Snuggle Mountain is a current fav.)
*She loves finding dandelions and then will wish for a "Big Hug" and run to me! The best!
*She loves doing "The Last Trick of the Night"...Daddy will flip her onto her bed WWE style before we tuck her in each night (I'll try to get a video soon!)
*Blowing and catching kisses at her door as we close it

Carter also loves to be loved with intense Quality Time and Touch...
*He loves to play "Bahhh" (ball)
*He loves to wrestle and be tickled
*He loves being sung to and rocked before bed and
*He loves when we give him his beloved blankie...
It's hard work trying to fill both of their "Love Tanks" each day, but I'm so grateful God has given us these little tanks to fill! And hopefully they will know how much we love them and that when we fail (and we often do) that God's love is always there...and His love never fails!!! :) It will be neat to see as they grow which of the 5 will be their top language...It was good to apply something we had read at the beginning of our marriage to ours kids...and I'm grateful for a Hubby who is great at filling all of our tanks each day... :)

On a side note...It's been so neat to have kittens in the fam...M loves holding them and now tries to carry Maggie around our house like she does the kittens and so far Mags has played along! :)
