MiMi sewed some wings on the Abby Cadabby costume while Mal was over the other night...the finishing touch! :) Mallory has to be Abby at least once a day now!
It's been a rough couple of days for "Abby" bc she has found herself landing in "Time Out" quite a bit...it is hard to go from having 2 parents at home for 5 days to having to share "just me" with Baby Brother. We are also working on a balance of using her "help"...I want her to feel good about her big sis role and I want her to help when she can, but sometimes the answer has to be "no" for Carter's sake and we are working through that....with things like the jumper being a jumper and not a swing and the fact that Carter is getting bigger and can do things on his own without his "Mother Hen" sister :) ....Crocodile Tears...she is quite the actress, but we are learning...A whole new stage of parenting 2 little people!!!

I love the wings! Now she can really fly. Carter needs a custome with extra padding to make up for Mallory's excitment. And possibly a helmet too.
Such a cute outfit!! And yes, we tread where you are- trying to find the right balance of Little Mommy and protecting Baby Brother.... Now that Alden's older, he can run away, scream, and he's just started tattling.... A whole new basket of issues to deal with- never a dull moment!!
