Well, the wait is finally over, and we want to thank everyone so much for their prayers and encouragement over this pregnancy!!! Carter Blake was born today (8/27) at 9:40 am by C-Section....We were happy to be in good hands when he was not cooperating during labor this morning. Carter is a chubba-bunchkins weighing in at 8 lbs 6 ozs and is 19 inches long!... We know God used the prayers of all our friends and family to get him to 36 wks 4 days, and feel incredibly blessed that he is doing very well and has been hanging out with us all day. Praise God!! :) Please pray for his continued health...we hope that you will enjoy the pics of our newest edition and his proud parents!

Oh my goodness! Matt told me the news at school today, and I was/am THRILLED for you guys! He is absolutely beautiful! God is so good!

What a cutie!! I can't get over how big he is- good thing he came early!! He is actually the same size Alden was- and he was 38weeks!! Enjoy all the c-section drugs- they are great and help the healing process!! We are thrilled for you guys and will keep you in our prayers as you begin the adventure of being a foursome!! We love it and know you will, too!!

Congrats you two! I can't believe he's here already! And so big! I was just praying for you today and I had no idea that you'd already had Carter! Oh well, I guess the prayers for an easy labor and no c-section were a little late... but now I can pray for a fast recovery :) Can't wait to see more pictures of your adorable boy when you're up to it. I'm so happy for you! Love you lots!
