Bro./Cousin Night

The cousins had fun once again while the Twins had Bro. Night...Abby took out all the dress up clothes for Mallory to try on...Good times!

Forts were made of course...and Carter enjoyed peeking in and wrecking them...

It's always bath night for our kids when the cousins are over...fun for all 4 of them! And I barely have to help at all! :)

Carter was pointing the play camera at us before bed and saying, "Cheese!" Hmmm wonder if he hears that a lot!??!?! :) Can't wait to hang out next time!

The Dentist!

Mallory went to the dentist for the first time today! This dentist came highly recommended from B&A kids and was actually my ped. dentist! :) We have been talking a lot about this trip to help gear her up...and she loved Hermie this yr at Christmas..."Hermie wants to be a dentist!"

I love her "cautious excitement"...she really did have a great time and was so shy...

They do a great job of making it fun and have a name for each tool they use...they gave her shades bc "Miss Sunshine" (the overhead lamp) is so bright...Carter was "Captain Concern-o" the whole time while they cleaned her teeth...

After they were done she got some fun glasses as a prize for being a good patient!

Then we headed to Chickfila to celebrate!

Hoping she will always think going to the dentist is cool! :)

Catching Up!

So excited to have our computer back after 3 days with the Geek Squad! So glad it was still under warranty and it was fixed for free!

I was a bit of a Cranky Buggins without it at first...but it was good for me to be "disconnected" for days on end and really just "be" with those around me...and call people on the phone the old fashion way!

Carter is always on the move and getting himself into trouble...check out his wake...

We were excited to have Mike home for a 3 day weekend...

Had some nice weather and got to play outside!!!!

We've missed being outside and loved the warmer temps...

Mal with her Daddy and "Macky Squeezy"...when she opened this from Grandma and Grandpa in the mail for her B-Day and we asked her his name...she said without hesitation..."Macky Squeezy!!!!"

The train table battles continue...if all is quiet you know where they are...on top of the train table! The age old problem of the "forbidden fruit"...

We had a visit from our friends from "Down Under" so great to catch up with a college roomie and really get to know her Swiss hubby!

And finished the long weekend with a playdate with Ezra...

We have been busy and feel blessed!!! :)

Can't stop thinking about all the people suffering in Haiti...I can't imagine what they are going through...it breaks my heart...thinking of all the people searching for their loved ones and people left behind...And I can't even handle taking my kids in for flu shots...it hurts me to see them in pain even for a second...and people like Ber and his parents (who is currently doing well) are always heavy on my heart too...Parents of children with cancer endure so many agonizing hours watching their children suffer to fight their cancer...Praying for the many people who are suffering today... Praying that "God would be close to the brokenhearted" as He promises us He will be...

The GOOD Life...

Have been feeling a little "under the weather" the last 2 days...but still so grateful for everything in my life...Last night Carter was walking around upstairs with his blankie on his head and cheesing it up and I was thinking...I'm gonna miss this! I think it hit me yesterday when I signed M up for preschool next yr and thought...I will only sign her up one more yr and then it will be K in 2012! SADness! My babies are growing up...(Hence the flash back photos)...

I'm so grateful I have been home with them and have gotten to experience so much with them...Like the time M's fav animal got a little too up close and personal with her at the zoo...

The other night before bed M hugged me and said, "When I grow up you will be my baby and I will love you!" Such a sweet moment! And I love how when we say our favorite part of the day at dinner Carter will offer his two cents which is usually something like "humm bubbb aaa!" And I love the fact that my husband makes me laugh every single day and treats me like a queen...

I'm just so thankful for my "peachy" life! :)

Restful and Relaxing...

What a great weekend...I am so grateful for these 3 people in my life...We have had lots of fun together this weekend just hanging out. We enjoyed church today...our only family outing for the weekend...very restful and refreshing...
Bedtime is such a nice snuggly time as a family...Love that Carter will now listen to more of the stories when we read to the kids...He backs up into us and plops down...his blankie is never far away... :)

The M, the C, and the Wardrobe

36 days til the "Love Holiday"! Hope our kids know that "we love bc He first loved us" and that the biggest thing He calls us to do is "love God and others..." Life is all about LOVE! Mike is so great at loving us all so well....I am so grateful to be "married to my best friend." :)

Love is built on two pillars that best define what it is.
Those pillars are patience and kindness.
All other characteristics of love are extensions of these two attributes.
