Fun in the sun (and shade with a baby!)

We enjoyed some time just the 3 of us this weekend out in our yard. I love the spring time! Even the cats had to be a part of the togetherness! :)
And Mallory loves her excersaucer now! (Mike calls it her little work cubicle!) She is busy at work when she is in there! And this weekend she started saying "mamamammaa and dadadada." Of course she doesn't mean anything by it, but I still got hyper. How blessed are we that this little one is going to call us "Mommy and Daddy" one day and mean it. :)

Good ol' Fashion Stump Burning!

So this weekend we decided to do "Operation Backyard Cleanup"...Mike cleared out the old juniper bushes and underneath there was a stump...(now we know why they planted the bush!) So my parents came over and Mike and Dad went to work on trimming trees, cleaning gutters, and setting the stump ablaze! I so want a fire pit and hope we can get one! I have a lot of ideas now for our backyard as Mallory grows and is able to enjoy it. It was so nice to just sit outside and look at the fire...mesmerizing!

Yay! We have a blog!

I am so excited to finally have a blog! My hope is that you will be able to share in the joys we have as a family. These are our Easter pictures! This year we reflected on God's goodness to us as a family. Last year on Easter we found out God had blessed us with little Mallory and now we can hold her in our arms and hear her sweet giggle. God is so good to us! We hope you will enjoy our blog and watching little Mallory grow!
