The kids were so excited for their 1st Hunt of the season...It was a BRIGHT and SUNNY Day so we headed off with shades on! The spread on the snack table...yummmmmmmmm!
The little kids had their hunt first...and they are off! I had told the kids on the way over to not be greedy...to maybe find 5 eggs and then be done so everyone would get some eggs...I also told them they could choose one to eat...Carter found one and was done and wanted to chow down!
Instant gratification much?!?! :)
Munching and waiting for the "Big Kid Hunt"...
The church was having a Yard Sale on Sat. so they had lots of things for sale in the gym...they let the kids play with some things before and after the hunt...Carter found the Super Heroes and he was happy for the morning! I just had to take a pic of his basket...Apparently the superheros needed to come along for the hunt and then there is his one egg in the basket....
Before the "Big Kid Hunt"...we didn't think to take a pic of the kids before the Little Kid Hunt...
M found her 5 eggs and settled in to eat...Where did my chubby babies go? Taking pics at these annual events really makes me see how much they have grown! :***(
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....chocolate-y goodness! The M&Ms from his bag had melted into the bottom of the bag and he couldn't finish the bag so I dumped the rest in an egg for him to lick out...his chocolate goatee was cracking me up!
Such a fun hunt!
The kids got to play on the playground and ride bikes, etc in the parking lot...it was a beautiful day and perfect for a hunt and picnic lunch...
The only kind of motorcycle I ever want my little people riding.... :)
And lastly...here is a pic one of the B&As drew the morning of the hunt of Carter in a tree with the rest of the fam looking on...we love our Wild Man! :)
