Batten Down the Hatches!!!!!!

After nap time we headed over to another park in the area...We love feeding the ducks here, but the "We're-not-in-Kansas-anymore" winds proved problematic! See Mike, MiMi and Mallory walking on the pier...they turned around right after the photo was taken as the waves were lapping at their ankles and the pier was super shaky...

The birds seemed to be stuck "mid-flight" as they tried to take on the wind...We gave up feeding them here too after a few mins of our bread flying everywhere but to the birds...Poor tired and hungry birds...

Mallory ran to the bottom of the slide and said, "I catch you Daddy..." :) Our little girl doesn't look so much like a toddler anymore sometimes...She is stretching out! SADness!

Carter enjoyed his book as he watched us play! We def. squeezed every oz of fun outta such a sunshinny warm day! We all went to bed good and tired! :)

In the Napping House...

Carter doesn't sleep as long as Mallory does yet in the afternoon, so we get some good time together just the 2 of us when he wakes up each day...and boy does he love his excersaucer! He is just like his sister was at his age!

Can't wait for the other 2/4 of the house to wake up so we can go back outside in the 78 degree weather! YIPPEEEEEE!!!

Tree Huggin and the Like...

We had a wonderful breakfast with Pepere in "Cafe Morin" before he got on the road this morning. Then a little "church" at home with a Bible Story DVD and then the kids and I went to the park bc it is GLORIOUS outside today! (Mike has been so sweet to give me 3 MNOs recently so today he had some "Me Time" with us out of the house!)

Our fearless leader on the nature trail...
Folks...we have a "tree hugger!!!"
Carter slept through Mallory's play time at the playground and the first half of our walk...

We had a little snack outside the Nature center as we waited for it to open...

A B-Day party let out right as it opened and Mallory joined them in looking at the fish and frogs in the little pond...before we headed inside to see the animals. :)

Afternoon Togetherness!

The kiddos hanging out after their afternoon naps...feel the sibling love!

Now it's time to get serious about watching a little Sesame Street...Mallory wonders if Carter got the memo!

"Momma her sit there"...Mal points to the other side of the couch...too much love for our Girly Boo!

He thinks he is so funny! Now for some floor time so Sissy can watch her program in peace. :)

Museum w/ Pepere!

Apparently our museum here "stepped it up a notch" since the time we went 3 days "Pre-Carter"!!! (Crazy to look back at how little Mal was!) I was so impressed...I've always loved it there, but thought the one near Laura's house was over the top with stuff to do...but they have added tons of new exhibits to ours! I am so happy!

Carter loved checking things out with Pepere and Mallory loved the whole place...but her favs were the tree house and picking apples! What a fun Saturday outing!

And bc I can never just take a few pics.... :)

God's Goodness...

Our Boogie Bear will be 7 months old tomorrow! We have seen God work so much in his life already! Yesterday we had his 6 Month Well visit and here are his stats:

Weight: 19 lbs 9 ozs 75%tile
Height: 95%tile

We had a bit of a scare yesterday...He has always had a big head, but yesterday the doctor suggested we get a head ultrasound just to be on the safe side. Well of course that made Mommy lose it! We got him in as soon as we could...730am today...and God was good and all is well! He just comes from a family of "Big Headed People" on both sides. :) We have truly seen God answer prayers over and over for our little guy! He blesses us each day with his fun personality and his smiles. I love when he smiles at people bc he gets so excited he shakes his head into my chest...it's the best!

He loves "talking" and making noises with his mouth. And chewing on everything in sight...especially those piggie toes! We love you and are so grateful to God and His goodness in your life! :)

Chillin'...Literally!

We have had some chilly and dismal days around here lately...and a girl who is obssessed with her shades...She just had to wear them to the bus stop the other morning...She was cracking everybody up with her "wishful thinking"...maybe she will really need them soon! :)

Last Class...

Today was the last class at the farm and Pepere came along with us!

The giiiiiiiiiiiii-normous pig was out and willing to be petted...Pepere did a great job keeping Carter asleep and then happy after he woke up as the toddlers took on the park!

After the story the teacher brought out a bunny for the kids to pet...it made all the kids very "hoppy..." (cheesy I know, but I couldn't help myself!)

And there were baby goats there...Casey and I were talking about how cute they were and how you never really think of goats as being cute...but they were adorable! They did this cute little bouncing thing on all fours...(Thanks for taking the last 2 pics Casey! What great shots!)

I wish we had more classes, but we will def have to have playgroup there some this spring! So fun and so much to see and do! :)

"Pepere Here! Pepere Here!!!"

Mallory was so excited to wake up from her nap today and kept saying, "Pepere here! Pepere here!!!" Pepere is back from TX and we will get to "share him" with the other Morin Crew for the week before he heads back home to RI! Uncle Matt and Aunt Sandy and the cousins came over for a cookout today and we played outside all afternoon! The cousins also enjoyed many trips inside Pepere's camper. They love it and can't get enough! :)

"The SUN'LL come out"....TODAY!!!

Couldn't get the "Annie song" outta my head yesterday with the promise of sun today...after days and days of rain! We took full advantage of the nice weather and had playgroup with lots of St. Patty fun in the backyard and then went over to the school for an hr this afternoon! (The kids had a half day.)

Carter has graduated to riding face forward in the stroller...can't get enough of my little man. Does he look like his sibling when she was his age?
So grateful to be able to get out and enjoy God's beautiful sunshine and warmth!

Love to see them "talking..." We hope they will grow to be great friends!

Childhood is the BEST!

Mallory was so excited to play "Hide-N-Seek the Leprechaun" this morning with the Before Kids. Her expression here sums up the "magic of it all"! :)

Top O the Mornin to Ya!

Watch out for "sneaky little people" today! This leprechaun is still snoozing on this fun holiday...she will have to have her photo op later! :) Don't get pinched today!

Museum Mania!

The "Beach Buddies" had the "Time of their Lives" at the Children's Museum near Aunt Laura's house. Elizabeth even made it out during the busy "Tax Season!" It was such an awesome museum...wish we could "upgrade" ours here to that one! So much to do and I got a little pic happy...it was like the time I went to the London Wax museum with my friend Ginny....so my battery died and I forgot the charger! So Sunday was not documented! Fun was had by all though...the big and little kids alike! :)

First Trip as a Fam of 4!

What a fabulous weekend! Our first weekend trip as "a family of 4!!!!" We had such an awesome time and of course I took a baquillion pics and will make a montage soon...but had to post a few tonight...a fam photo outside of "Nonie's House" at the Children's Museum...And one of the sisters and the kids! We had such a wonderful time with you this weekend Laura!!!! We love you! :)

Bad Boys... Bad Boys

Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?!?!?!?

Early Morning Playdate!

3/4 of the "Beach Babies" got to hang out this weekend! (If only Zack could have been there too!) Charlotte and her Daddy came over in the morning to play with us!
Mallory enjoyed showing Charlotte "the beloved candles" before they were hidden for the rest of the weekend. :)

It's so fun to see the "next generation" of the beach kids being loved on by the older generation!
